• \((X, B)\) has slc singularities, and in particular \(K_X + B\) is \({\mathbf{Q}}{\hbox{-}}\)Cartier,
• \(K_X + B\) is an ample \({\mathbf{Q}}{\hbox{-}}\)divisor.
